FIRE VELO & RIDE for 9-11 spread the word

Fire Velo Cycling Club is joining Ride for 9-11 and helping spread the word. Fire Velo is a “Fire Department” based, cycling club. They are Firefighters riding for Firefighters. Their goal is to be a highly visible national cycling organization, participating in rides and charity events throughout the United States. Now they are doing what they want to do, helping Firefighters with the Ride for 9-11. Thank you VERY much Fire Velo for your support and help.

NEWPORT BEACH
Ride for 9/1 1: A firefighter who lives in Newport Beach will be one of 10 firefighters taking part in a cross-country bicycle ride this summer for the 10th anniversary of 9/11. Randall Wright, who works out of the South Gate station for the Los Angeles Fire Department, plans to leave Los Angeles on July 24 and arrive at the FDNY Firefighters Memorial on Sept. 9. The ride will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and The Leary Firefighters Foundation. Information: ridefor9-11.org.
